		<description>They are in fact simply the Korean version of mochi:  gluetenous sweet rice is ground into a very fine flour that is mixed with water, flavoring, and/or coloring to make a paste which can be filled with things like sweet red bean paste, honey, sesame and brown sugar . . . just about anything!  These particular ones were filled with red bean (pat) before being pressed - but the traditional ones for Chuseok (the Korean mid-Autumn festival) are hand formed and then steamed on a bed of pine needles.  Supposedly women who are good at making pretty seongpyeon will have pretty children.  Fatman&#039;s kids are gonna need plastic surgery . . .</description>

		<description>The rice cakes are so pretty! Now I want to know more about them. Are those tiny red balls red bean paste? Is that glutinous rice similar to what&#039;s used for mochis? The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival is coming up this Sunday and I wouldn&#039;t mind having some of those rice-cakes in place of the snow-skin lotus paste mooncakes. We used slightly bigger wooden molds to make our mooncakes too.</description>
