seoul food for people who love to eat
Famed author and writer David Foster Wallace died this past Friday. While he was known for a vast body of works including Infinite Jest, A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again, and Girl with Curious Hair, one of our favorite works here at FatManSeoul has always been his essay “Consider the Lobster” (영어 링크.) The famed food magazine Gourmet sent Wallace to go cover the Maine Lobster Festival, and what they got in return was a remarkable and acute consideration of the ethics of the food we eat that has since become a must-read for anyone concerned about our relationship with the creatures we consume.
