Aloha, I plan to be at the Andong Mask Festival this Sep 09. Which nice hotel do you recommend that's walking distance to the festival? I'd like something on the quiet side. Any chances of my teaching English in exchange for a guide from Daegu to Andong for a few hours on Sep 27? I don't know how to get to Andong with a large suitcase. I'm a senior of Korean ancestry, but English is my first language. No one taught me how to speak Korean - only know some of the phrases and food. I wonder if I would get bored staying in Andong for a week. I may want to see Daegu and Busan.
I would appreciate any suggestions. Kahmsahmnida

I cannot read this blog because all it makes me want to do is cry about the fact that I am not in Korea eating all this food. The western food in Korea I can do without, as I live in NYC, but the Korean food, o the Korean food.

That 찜닭 looks friggin amazing ;_;

The festival is still ongoing - you have until next weekend to check it out for yourself, but give us a day or two and we'll put together a post on the festival itself.
