Food is important: It is culture made edible, the very soul of a people made manifest.

When we eat a dish, we’re not just consuming nutrients. We ingest history, culture, lifestyle, geography, genetics, labor, and talent. We digest it with our senses, our tastes, and our experiences. Food is infused with the history of the culture that made it, the life of the chef, and the senses of the eater.

음식은 중요합니다: 그것을 먹는 사람들의 영혼이며 문화입니다. 우리가 음식을 먹을 때, 우리는 단순히 영양분을 섭취하는 것이 아니라, 그 나라의 역사, 문화, 라이프스타일, 지리, 유전적인 것들, 노동, 실력, 이 모든 것들을 섭취하는 것입니다. 음식은 그 음식을 만들어 낸 문화, 요리사의 인생, 먹는이의 감각이 혼합된 것이라고 할 수 있습니다.
